Question 1

How much does it cost to send money to Malawi?

Accepted Answer

A flat 1% of what you send, taken out of the amount rather than added on top, and no markup hidden in the exchange rate. Send £1,000 and you are charged £1,000; the recipient is paid the kwacha for £990 at the published rate. The full breakdown is shown before you confirm.

Question 2

What is the exchange rate from pounds to Malawian kwacha?

Accepted Answer

The current XtraPush Wallet rate is published on the rates page before you create an account, and the calculator there uses the same number the product charges. Your rate is held while you complete the payment, and nothing is added at checkout.

Question 3

How long does a transfer to Malawi take?

Accepted Answer

Transfers are paid out from our Malawi bank after the money reaches us, and you are given an arrival time when you send. You are messaged in the app and by email when the payout has been made.

Question 4

How does the recipient in Malawi get the money?

Accepted Answer

Straight into a Malawian bank account in kwacha, or onto an Airtel Money or TNM Mpamba wallet. They do not need an XtraPush Wallet account. You save the recipient once and sending to them again takes seconds.

Question 5

Can I withdraw USDT to Binance?

Accepted Answer

Yes. USDT withdrawals go to any Binance deposit address, or any other wallet you control, on Arbitrum or Tron. The network fee is flat per chain and shown before you confirm, with the cheapest chain presented as the cheapest.

Question 6

What is XtraPush Wallet for?

Accepted Answer

Mainly for sending money. You can send money to family in Malawi, straight into their bank account or their Airtel Money or TNM Mpamba wallet, and pay other members here instantly for free. You can also hold pounds, dollars or USDT in the wallet, buy gift cards, and withdraw to any wallet you control. Buying and selling at market prices is available too, but you never have to use it.

Question 7

What does it cost to trade?

Accepted Answer

Spot carries a flat network fee per trade rather than a percentage, plus a small share of realised profit on a winning sell. Leverage charges a fee on collateral when the position opens. Every figure is shown on screen before you confirm.

Question 8

Is my money protected?

Accepted Answer

Balances are held by regulated custody partners, separate from XtraPush Wallet itself, and are withdrawable to any wallet you control. Every member completes identity verification before the account is activated.

Question 9

How do I fund and withdraw?

Accepted Answer

Fund by debit card, bank transfer or a crypto deposit to your own address, and it becomes a balance you can trade the same minute. Withdraw USDT to any wallet you control — the fee is flat per chain, and the cheapest chain is shown as the cheapest.

Question 10

Does XtraPush Wallet offer a virtual card?

Accepted Answer

Virtual cards are coming soon. When they launch you will be able to create one in seconds and add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay, spending directly from your balance.
